A week in Politics goes fast, you should be in TV dear

B4 you know it, time goes by and we are doing something different everyday and bang, you forgot to write your blog.

Well after a manic weekend my business partner & I attended the Philadelphia press launch of Cezanne & Beyond at the National Gallery. This is something that will be at the Philadelphia Museum that begins in February. It was amazing, I never knew the difference from Modern art to historic art and I tell you what I sure do now. Anyway the reason we were there was the wonderful Kristel Valaydon from www.visitpa.com is arranging for TVPolari to go and film a show of wish you were Queer with the wonderful Gabbi and crew. So watch out for that one.

Then it was onto film Mike Arlen who must be the most wonderful and funny man on earth. he told us tales that would not be told at a dinner party about Elton John when he was younger, Rod Stewart in the old days throwing plates around, The Beetles and lots more. You will have to wait for that show to come out in the new year for all the gossip and what gossip it will be.

Wednesday was a full event, we started in Brighton for production meetings with the wonderful Jamie Flawn and his crew. Then right back up to London for a business meeting with 90 gay professional people at a secret event called Iliad (well trust me to let the cat out of the bag) Not so secret now is it. well its not the gay mafia so we are ok on that front.

What a work filled weekend it was, I started writing scripts for the new show Wish you were queer, a gay television show based around the original but much better and for LGBT bods and suchlike.

Monday I hurt my back and had to cancel an important meeting with Gino from the Gay Business Association that in my mind is very important and Gino has done a great job in turning it around and making it what it is today. Gino also has a company called Pink Weddings and runs the Gay wedding show that TVPolari will be at in November filming and reporting great stuff.

This week I am off to the Iris gay film festival in Cardiff so I will give you a full report on Russel T Davis and H from Steps and what they get up to. TTFN x
