Penny Television Launches

Finance & Property channel Penny Television Adds Its Award Winning Line Up To TV Polari’s IPTV Offerings

DATE (London, UK): A new TV channel is set to help individuals with money on the TV Polari network - the first, UK-launched and globally broadcast, lifestyle IPTV channel that will focus on money, property, investing in people and entertainment. Broadcasting online and via IP set-top box services on the Global Digital Broadcast (GDBTV) platform, Penny Television will promote national and international publicity for people and their finance; whether it be exploring the lives of those being made redundant, buying a new home in the UK abroad or an individual trying to help a community.

Penny Television set up in London by finance consultant Aaron Carty, as a channel dedicated to spotlighting money issues in a way that can help and entertain people through top quality programs that they can watch when they want to through the internet or through the TV schedule via the IP set-top box services on the Global Digital Broadcast platform. At the same time as creating a business to business network through featuring unique and specialised companies within the TV programs. The biggest impact Penny Television will have is it’s investment in people. Exploring individuals who are trying to help communities with young people, those who have had radical changes to their lives through economic downturns as well as upturns and those individuals who make a stand to change their lives.

Penny Television as a starring channel on TV Polari, will all be an On Demand and broadcast channel; as content is released on a continual basis, including upcoming titles such as London’s Best Dance Crew influenced by the hit TV show ‘America’s Best Dance Crew’, Queer As Talent, Interior – from the Designer. As well as top US dramas like Desperate Housewives, The Wire, True Blood, Chuck, Sex and the City and Prison Break. Penny Television is such a diverse channel giving birth to a metro sexual money channel that is a lot more than just about saving the pennys but also about how to spend them.

Aaron Carty, Channel Editor of Penny Television add, “I’ve been given this incredible opportunity to create a channel using my expertise and enthusiasm. Penny Television has been created to be a diverse channel that will allow individuals to get involved as much as they want to because the content is focused on these individuals, their money, how they spend it and what not to do with it.”

Lancelot Fougere, CEO for the TV Polari network, adds: “This is an amazing time for the TV Polari Network and we are proud to have Penny Television as one of our channels.”

TV Polari and its sub-channels are available to view globally online via TV Polari’s own website and GDBTV’s Go UK TV portal; and on the Something TV set-top box to television service in the UK.

New Channels going Live

Well Guys and girls and any Transgender people out there, what a manic few weeks I have had at TVPolari.

We have now started the first ever Gay Travel channel and its called The Polari Travel Channel and our two new directors Mike Brady and his partner Graham Andrews. We will be filming all around the world and making travel shows just for the LGBT community. So check it out and please remember to give us feedback so we give you your TV your way. Watch out for the new Wish you were Queer programme in the new year.

We took our wonderful Gabbi to the Plasa08 show in Earls court and she created a massive stir there and we all had such a great time. Her eyes did wonder and sometimes she was not on the ball so to speak as there were so many wannabe DJ's walking around.

Our Monthly news roundup show will be on air shortly and this will give you updates on a monthly basis of whats gone on in our world and any other great things that are going to be happening over the coming months. Watch out the gay newsboys are about.

Then it was on to the IGLCC for a great session with business owners and important people in the gay world who all want to make a difference.

A massive shout out to Sue Sanders from the LGBT history month who was on fine form and we are very proud to be the media sponsor for the LGBT History Month 2009.

A new and very exciting channel went online in the network this month and it was Gabbiworld which will show you everything from the gay scene you ever wanted, so watch out for Gabbi and her crew at a bar or club near you soon.

That's all for now and I will give you a celeb update in my next blog.
